As you all know The Wild EP is coming along strong with several members of the VGM community providing mix feedback while Materia Collective LLC is helping to distribute, license, and produce this album with me! However, I also am approaching my graduation (Undergraduate in Computer Science) and starting employment at an exciting opportunity!
Why does this matter?
It basically means, after this EP is out I have 6 Patreon Requests and the BIG PATREON MEDLEY(If you have not given me your request yet, PLEASE do so here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/patreon-medley-1-8295635
I am only a boy, so naturally this EP puts us back a lot for Request Mountain and your contributions! Therefore I will not be doing Request Mountain for April in order to catch up on Requests from March's RM, Sanj, Sean, and Nick!
More importantly, to compensate for your support $4 Patrons+ will receive a copy of The Wild EP through a separate Google Drive share for supporting the price of the EP (likely in the $5-7 range)!
That's great! But aren't you still behind?
Yes! I am still behind these covers, although over half of them have been recorded or arranged and are awaiting collaborators (Ocarina of Time's Opening for instance). But when I start work in June, I will have to realistically change my Patreon to compensate my weekly video schedule until I can finish all these. Likely, This is good because you guys get control of my content and help guide me, but most requests tend to be unlicensable (and thus unsellable) songs. Ideally we can find a middle ground and keep this music-making machine afloat!
(This does mean, if you have not contributed yet for technical issues etc I unfortunately can't share the album this way. A trending issue with Patron Creators like myself has been non-processed Patrons receiving free music this way)
LAST in other news, I visited Guitar Center today looking to trade in some old amps as I prepare for my big move and... I might be trading in my behringer PA (used in garage band days for vocals) and Peavey Vypyr/Footswitch for a replacement guitar. Also, I am looking to sell my Squier Strat to make space for a new friend.
