In Frozen Palaces
I will be a mystic tonight, an explorer of frozen palaces and kingdoms of ice. I will stand with outstretched dreams, sink in to the restless beauty of the frozen forests of New Scotland. I will sway under solid stories of water in transit, a glacial flow in slow motion, thousands of pounds pounding down to the sea. Woe is me in the path of the thaw. I'll be back for the signs of spring, and the rollicking, rushing, rolling rapids rapidly raging in free-flowing  dance to the call of gravity. Bend to the ocean, shatter in the sun, and fall to pieces at the feet of the melt. In songs of glass and hearts of frost, tell me all you've ever felt...
