An Introduction to 'Talia - Fires of Ferelden'

Introduction to a Crossover

Greetings and Salutations, you lucky few to have made it to this page!

As a writer, I have been working for years to improve my skills, primarily in the genre that is Fantasy. It’s always been a passion of mine, something which I do so hope is reflected in the quality of my work. I’ll start out by admitting that, yes, this is actually the first time I have written a story of this magnitude, and so your support and enjoyment is crucial to its continuation.

‘Talia - Fires of Ferelden’ is a Fanfiction done over the two arguably most well-thought out fantasy universes I have ever come across; the Elder Scrolls, and Bioware’s Dragon Age. This naturally makes it a story with two universes that I do not own, and as such my work is free-of-charge, unless you should choose to support me here on Patreon. Regardless, I will be posting my work with regular updates, mostly just for your shared pleasure.

Talia is, by itself - and herself - , a work in infinite progress. ‘Talia - Fires of Ferelden’ tells the story of a young, wayward Breton on a quest for nothing more than to escape the political machinations of High Rock. Her escape landed her at the prestigious College of Winterhold, where after three years, our story begins.

As a crossover, and an amateur’s work of fiction in general, ‘Talia’ is perhaps one of the most inclusive - and expansive -  stories in this area. Politics, war, racism, slavery, famine, diseases and trauma, all are subjects - and issues - so often passed by in favor of the action, sweet though it be. ‘Talia’ combines all of that, with realistic ramifications of cultural clashes, religious tolerance - and lack of same - and the consequences of an expanding worldview.

If you are looking for a story with depth beyond the action and its ensuing, immediate consequences, this might just be something worth your time.

Proudly presented to you, by yours truly, Roku.
