What's the harm in believing people who say they have a disability? That a faker exists and would exploit accommodation. It is profoundly unfair to harass and disbelieve disabled and chronically ill people on the basis of bad behavior of abled individuals. Not to mention, such fakers are rare to fictional while disability is common....

When someone tells you they have a learning disability or a food allergy or a reason to use a disabled parking space, believe them. I guarantee most of the fakers you think you know of have real disabilities you just couldn’t see. The potential harm from believing an abled liar is not justification for disbelief, not when you consider the harm this does to all of us with invisible disabilities.
