It never is anyone else, it's always my reaction.
It is never anyone else or anything else that is causing the problem in life, it's always my reaction to whatever happens. Yesterday, as I was playing a game of League of Legends, I forgot to take smite when playing jungle. This is about the worst pre-game mistake you can make, and it is easy for anyone else in the game to spot out. Like any other shame trigger, this immediately put me on the defensive when people in the game would heckle me. Unfortunately, this anger spilled over and I took it out on my friends in the call. How many times does this happen in our life where our own mistakes cause us to lash out at others? I hope this power thought is helpful for you, and I appreciate your feedback!
