Well, first this mean the shield can have animations that act independently of the Knight, in this case a shining animation will play, that animation is also used for something that will be shown in tomorrow's post~
Second, I can now make it more obvious when you block an hit! Now only the shield will shine instead of the whole Knight's sprite if you've successfully blocked an attack, giving better feedback.
Third this meant a lot more work for me, besides the fact that I already hate Unity's animation system, when I finished all the animations I noticed I had to move the shield in the hierarchy and that broke all the animations I just did! So I had to re-do all of them from start!!! AAAAAAAA!!!!
