The Last Stand of Spring Man
I composed this piece for a fascinating instrument I discovered in a dusty, old thrift shop. It looks like some surreal steampunk contraption and produces this haunting tone that had me reeling with equal parts delight and surprise when I first heard it. So I hammered together this arrangement of horn, melodica, cello and other odds and ends that feels every bit as unrepentant in its bizarreness as the instrument itself.

What's the instrument called? Well, that's a matter of mystery  at the moment. To be revealed on Thursday!
