A Latina's Writing Musings
When I was little, I wanted to be an artist, and when I got older I decided I should be a teacher. I liked children, I enjoyed tutoring, teaching, being a part of people's lives. But I didn't love teaching. I loved to write. So I started writing on the side at first, and after some introspective soul searching, I decided, to hell with what's safe, what's reasonable, what's realistic, I wanted to write.

So I wrote.

I'm continuing to write, to discover various things about myself while I write. Learning things through others writing and continuously growing as a writer. I believe in honesty and learning above most things. Writing has helped keep me honest, it has helped me learn about myself, the world, and aids me in carving out a space for me within it.

Though writing I can share personal experiences, I can speak on things I love, I can share my perspective, I can bring to light problems within my communities. I can spin tales and stories no one else has and share with the world my own self.

I love to learn. I love to write. I hope you would like to listen and share with me as well. I've grown so much through writing, and I continue to grow little by little. If able, I'd like to continue with a little help, so I can continue growing and learning. So I can share my stories and so many others.
