Launch Day Review

So I launched the campaign, finally! It's only been one day, so I don't have much to say/show, but I want to get a feel for the system, so I'll just toss out a quick review of the last day or so.

I couldn't sleep the night before launch. I tried. For hours. But it just wasn't going to happen. So finally, just before sunrise, I got up and got to work finalizing this campaign. I had to set up the last few links between Patreon and my website (https://danhunsaker.awswan.com), and prepare a launch announcement post so that people would know I'd launched, and in many cases, that I had a campaign in the first place.

That done, I hit Launch, tidied up the launch announcement, and posted that. Then, after doing a bit of work for my day job, I finally fell asleep for a few hours.

Most of the rest of the day was spent alternating between sleep and day job work, but I did fire off a couple of additional posts on my various social media accounts to let people know about the campaign - in case they had missed the initial post that morning.  Eventually, well after the sun was set, I finally woke up mostly refreshed.

And that's when I started writing this update. And planning a small "launch party" with a couple of local friends. Because at this point, I think some social time would be the best thing for my mind. Those who have followed me for a long time will recall posts about my mental health (which isn't all that great all the time). Things are drastically better than they were when I first posted about it, but there are still bad times, and I'd like to prevent another one so I can get right to work ASAP. So, yeah. Small launch "party". Self care. Planning mode engage...

Anyway. That's the past day (or so) since I launched (plus a few hours before that to set the stage, as it were). Feel free to comment, or better yet, to pledge your patronage! See you in the updates!
