The Launch of Stay a Night, Give a Night and a New Home Page
Thanks again for all your support. We have two pieces of great news to share!

1. We went live with our new "Stay a Night, Give a Night" campaign a couple weeks ago, and have facilitated two stays. Sheryl Mihalik was the first traveler we matched with a Seattle host, which which led to funding for the equivalent of two nights of shelter for a child experiencing homelessness at Mary's Place (her story can be found here).

Coverage from the launch: GeekWire's article is here, the Stranger mentioned the campaign, Product Hunt is here, and you can even read the press release if you're so inclined.

2. We went live with a brand spanking new home page. The old home page was more of a “how it works” landing page than an aspirational story showcasing “why you would want to use Horizon”. What do you think? Does the new home page better demonstrate what Horizon is and why you should care? Any feedback you’d like to offer would be awesome.

We have three asks of you today:

1. If you know travelers visiting Seattle in the coming months, we'd love to help them experience all the magical charm of Seattle through the eyes of a Seattleite. Send them this link.

2. If you know hosts in the greater Seattle area, please let ask them to join our host community.

3. Like our page on Facebook.

We hope you join us to transform the way travelers experience Seattle by adding purpose to their allocation of tourism dollars. Thanks again for all your support!
