Let There Be Light - progress

Hey everyone. It has been years since I've written Let There Be Light, a year since I've gotten funding for the instrument and recording software, 9 months since I recorded the original demo, and 6 months since I decided that where I was with the project was not good enough. I decided to take some time to practice and see exactly what needed to happen to make the song better. I have since improved my skills of singing as well as my efficacy for recording, mixing, writing, and mastering music. It's been a week since I sent a demo to the worship leader at Bethany bible (recorded on my phone) and a year since I originally shared it with Matt Hawkins, the worship leader from fellowship Phoenix. There was always something bugging me about the song. Of course, I can be a perfectionist, but can you blame me? Look how big this project is meant to be... Long story even longer, I figured out that the last ingredient was a quality interface. Shout out and big thanks to my friend Rylan Black. He suggested the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2, and my goodness... it is clear as day the difference in record input quality. It is so clear and there is no more interference. I needed to update you guys because you've invested not only your money, but also your prayers, love, and time into building up who I am. Despite being a 2 year long process thus far, I am happy with the projection God has blessed us with. The snapshot is a selfie of me working live on this project today (September 21st 2016). The only thing I am waiting for now is to get my wife to sing back up vocals and give me constructive criticism to make the song even better. God bless you guys!!! Much love. I have also since started a Patreon account. This allows fans and supporters like yourself to give as low as $1 a month so I can make more projects like this even faster on a regular basis.
