Let the World Fall
This is a little poem I scribbled down the other week when I was feeling creatively stale.

After re-visiting it, I kind of like it. What do you guys think?

Do you ever wonder where the songbird flies

When the world falls silent with violence?

Have you ever watched the breeze fly by

And heard the sound of guns shooting flowers?

Do you ever feel the sorrow of our people

As they scale the pride of our leaders?

When will they see that there's no point in kneeling

At the feet of our kind-hearted oppressors?

Can you fall faster - fall with the sky

Like the storm that comes crashing from mountains?

You watch the world fall as you sit on your throne

And turn off your hearts from what matters.
