Level 95: Olivier Deriviere (Vampyr)
French composer Olivier Deriviere comes up with great textures in all his music, whether it's Remember Me or Get Even or Black Flag: Freedom Cry or Alone in the Dark

The same can be said for his new Vampyr score. Olivier uses bass flute, inventively played cello, a creepy (in a wonderful way) choir and industrial sounds it some really fun-to-hear ways. Sonically pleasing, I would say.

And the players are outstanding. The performances are so fantastic, it's rewarding to hear.

Here's a great behind-the-music video.

Sure hope you enjoy our conversation!
