Shortly after I posted the Level Bit about the Fallout themes, I heard that Inon Zur is dropping a new stand-alone album in June, inspired by his music from the Dragon Age universe. So we had a brief chat about Into the Storm, the musicians with whom he collaborated (including what many of us consider "the voice" of Dragon Age, Aubrey Ashburn) and why he made the album in the first place.
I have a special place in my heart for the first two Dragon Age soundtracks; for those of you who've been with us since the earliest days of Top Score, you may recall that Inon was one of our first interviews, and we spoke about Dragon Age. As a result of that very interview, I bought and played Dragon Age and fell in love with it, largely as a result of the sonic world created by Inon. It's meaningful, nostalgic and powerful for me.
We hope you enjoy the conversation with Inon!
