We have followed the Nuzlocke comic: Myths of Unova for months now. You'd think that a fan-made story about pokemon wouldn't be much to note about, but you'll be surprised by how much depth each character has, and how well the story develops. Our writer had introduced me to Ky-nim's comic last year, and though I was skeptical at first, I became hooked on the story. You can check out her deviantart page here: ky-nim.deviantart.com And her FB!: facebook.com/[email protected] Recently, she created a "Fakemon" (a "fake" pokemon, original design), called "Vahirom", as part of the Myths of Unova storyline. You can read all about it on her page :D So I found myself really enthralled with the design of Vahirom, and the fact that it was a STEEL DRAGON. I MEAN, COME ON. WHAT IS MORE BADASS THAN A STEEL DRAGON?? I decided to make a fan art of Vahirom, but with a few quirks (I can't help it, I like to change things up a bit): Vahirom's move, Origin Flare, was supposed to be "beams of brilliant light". However, my version of Origin Flare is that Vahirom fires superheated steel, such to the point that it near-becomes plasma; my reasoning is because it makes Vahirom seem heavier... and realistically fearsome. When I imagined Vahirom using special moves, its yellow highlights will glow brightly as energy channels through its body to concentrate it for an attack. Hence, Vahirom will "glow" with the anticipation of the attack and during the execution. Time taken: 5h Program used: Manga Studio 5
