Looking Forward to 2017
This year has been a bumpy ride, no? I know it has been for me. 2016 has been a year of playing catch up from the very beginning. Starting in February, our apartment flooded, resulting in a loss of a lot of my original art, furniture, and time my family spent out of their element in someone else's home until clean-up, which literally took a month. And even after, the place was uninhabitable due to mold and the apartment complex would not move us on their dollar. From there, a new place had to be secured in a short time frame, resulting in a delay of bills, and the beginning of my year long struggle to catch up. This year has taken a major toll on me artistically, and that has to change. Granted, I did accomplish a couple gigs and got back to work on my own comic, my intended purpose was to build up my Patreon to at least a reasonable supplementary income level. I failed that, among other things. With 2017 around the corner, I have a chance to wipe the slate clean, overhaul my approach, and make better strides towards the endgame of becoming an artist full time. I hope those of you with me now will stick around for this to come. It's going to be different. It's going to be better.
