#Lootcrate 2015 July (Heroes): Batman Q-Pop Figurine (**)
Loot Crate is a monthly service in which you receive geek-friendly merchandise at a discount, grouped around a particular theme. This is the second Batman-themed item included...what, no room for Superman?

This is an action figure that my five-year-old daughter immediately claimed for herself because of the tiny word bubble that goes along with it. Not the finely sculpted figure, but the miniature write/erase board (pen included) where she proceeded to draw a flower. Batman...speaking in flower.

The figure itself is a curious hybrid between chibi-style cuteness and the classic 60s television show. It doesn't quite work, particularly the batarang that's in his hand -- it looks like a knife -- which creates the effect of a child menacing people in his Halloween costume. It's more Hank from Venture Bros. than an homage to the television series.
