A lush and beautiful walk
This Sunday, we walked the Mildred E. Mathias Botanical Garden at UCLA. It's an educational tool for the students. but it's also open to the public. Thus, it has a wide variety of exotic plants, trees, and creates a number different micro-environments. Included in the exclusive attached photos is a prickly pear with the largest lobes I've ever seen, plus some sort of pond experiment with floating lichen and clovers. The nerd in me likes that one. Oh, and I didn't really roll over the spikes. That was just for fun. ;-)
