Hello! My name is Steve and I like to draw!

ABOUT ME:
I'm currently an art student at LCAD that's majoring in Entertainment Illustration with a minor in Creative Writing. I live in Southern California and I make a living by selling my art and products featuring my art. My Etsy is located here!
Typically I can support myself just fine with this. However, now that I'm enrolled in a serious art school my finances have drained far quicker than I would have hoped.
It's through Patreon that I hope to get a little support on the side as well as track my development in school.

WHAT IT IS I DO:
Well, talk about dogs a lot but I do other things to! Like art! I do hella art.
I draw both fanart and my own creations. Both of these are pretty split in the middle since fanart brings home the bacon but my own work is what I would love to do full-time.
Of course I love doing both!
The fanart I draw is tied to both my love of a certain series and to my work. I draw T-Shirts as well as all the images used on my Etsy products. I also sell my work at conventions!
The original art I draw is largely based off my own stories and works in progress. Currently I am working on two stories: Sadie is Dead and Larry the Fat Vampire.
You'll be seeing updates on both ends.

ABOUT SADIE IS DEAD:
Sadie is Dead is a webcomic about a girl who, despite the title of the comic, isn't 100% dead. I mean, she's dead enough but not quite dead. With no memory of her prior life, she sets out to try to find meaning in this world she was thrown in. It follows her adventures at Hayden, a school built to house and protect the supernatural and the slight-average-but-still-a-bit-supernatural.
Middle school is tough enough on Sadie when strange(r) things begin happening to her and her school. It's up to Sadie to uncover the mysteries hidden in the walls, the source of the dark energy, and the cause of her tragic and sudden death/rebirth.

ABOUT LARRY THE FAT VAMPIRE (title still in the works:)
Larry the Fat Vampire is a story about well, a bloodsucking creature of the night who happens to be what most people would deem "overweight." Not that Larry particularly minds, he's a chill guy who aims to go through life making as little waves as possible.
Larry would have been perfectly content working at PJ's Pizza and Bait Parlor for the rest of his life were it not for the strange events that led him to becoming a vampire. As if that wasn't troubling enough, Larry is set to be the next to the throne and reign over a new era of vampire.

Along with that it's only a small bit of this entire fictional universe I'm working on with various characters and storylines that veer off into other directions.

WHY SHOULD YOU PLEDGE?:
Because that's a cool thing to do and you're a cool person!

Nah but really, as much as my passion and hobby has sustained me in the past it's become harder to do so with the constant cost of art school eating away at my finances. With the money I hope to both make living expenses easier to pay and to spend more time working on my art.

Any little bit helps and even just a dollar pledge would mean the world to me.

I also make really bad puns so that's a plus! ...I sure hope!
