The Many-Faced God
"I’ve always felt an affinity with the faceless ones. Oddly, their religion seems kinder than most of the other ones: they only kill when they’re paid to, and don’t try to convert other people, and if I had to join a one of the faiths from Game of Thrones, I might pick theirs. The notion of all religions being attempts to come to terms with death appeals to me, and being a syncretic atheist, I like the thought that there’s value in all their narratives. Which makes me ask: what would the sanctum look like in this world?"
