Mendelian Genetics
Math Dad and I have been working on a series of videos on famous science experiments, and we just finished the first one about Gregor Mendel and genetics. 

Genetics has a lot of specific terminology, and I wanted to help it be a little more memorable and accessible, so we used cartoon aliens instead of peas and put a strict limit on the number of new words we introduced in the video, which had me dancing around not using "allele"... but, on the whole I think it came together well.

I made a simple worksheet to go along with it (aimed at age 8 to 10 years old), and Math Dad put together a series of Desmos activities, which are targeted more for middle-school/high school age. The teacher dashboard to launch those is here:
