Adam Dutkiewicz guests this week on the podcast, of course you know him from Killswitch Engage and Times of Grace, but his latest project takes his talents in a completely different direction. Serpentine Dominion is a death metal project featuring Shannon Lucas (ex- BDM) and George Corpsegrinder Fisher of Cannibal Corpse, so a little bit heavier than what you may have expected. In our interview though, since it is the day before the election, we decided that Adam needed to be our man on the street and let us in on all his political views, his plans to solve the Middle East Crisis, legalizing various consumables and we did let him off the hook and talk about music, his career, how they keep Jessee Leech under control in KSE and of course his appearance on the Price is Right.
We delve into some politics, because politics and couldn’t resist talking about how an internet feud between two grown men actually goes down. When Dee Snider called out Cannibal Corpse’s first album for be terrible, Chris Barnes reacted on twitter, Dee apologized and they complimented each other. That is how you do this nowadays, right? or would it have been better to stick to his guns and stare him down? Either way it’s just entertaining to see a champion of free speech in music get called out for talking smack about someone else’s art.
