Metroid Prime: Federation Force Review
When Metroid Prime: Federation Force was revealed last year, the reception was hostile to say the least. To some extent, this should have been expected; you can't take a series as beloved as Metroid, which hasn't seen a new game in five years (or a new game that isn't Other M in almost 10), and announce something that seems to throw everything fans love about the franchise out the window.
Metroid Prime: Federation Force review
I’d concede that if you’re a person who loves multiplayer first-person shooters but a 3DS is the only gaming system you have available – as unlikely as that seems – then Metroid Prime: Federation Force might be worth picking up. For everyone else, I’d encourage you to stay far away: this is a disappointing game by any measure, but even worse when you consider the Metroid name it carries. Just think: this mess got the green light, but that other 3DS Metroid game with the beautiful concept art got canned.
