Model Legal Resource Fund
In June 2015, Brennan Hill and Nicole Vaunt made a blacklist of photographers who had behaved inappropriately towards models in an effort to make models safer and to give them a support system. In addition to receiving threats, and Brennan having to move her family, both women were also named in a lawsuit that was heard in superior court (the lawsuit was dismissed as frivolous in October 2016). As a result of this, they've accumulated huge legal fees and they need help.
I only worked as a model for a couple years, but I can tell you that it is so valuable to know whether the man you're about to shoot with, about to get naked for, is going to treat you with respect, care about your safety, and understand and respect your boundaries. When Brennan and Nicole released this list of names it made me feel a lot of relief for my friends who work as models, and for those just getting in to the industry.
I'm positive this list has saved women, I'll be donating the majority of the money I make for the month of November from my Patreon to their legal fund. Please donate to this worthy cause if you can. If you can't, please share the link.
