This poem is now available to everyone! Woot! :)
Hi there, Patrons!
Yep! While you are waiting for your main rewards I thought to help pass the time I'd share a couple of poems I've written.
The first I'm going to share with you today, is named 'Submission is...' and is an honest, heartfelt view of submission.
The second, 'Good Me. Bad me' is a much more tongue in cheek little ditty. I'll share that with you tomorrow.
Both were written under a much larger work in progress titled 'The Girl Who Broke the Rules'. It's an erotic thriller and part of my CampNaNoWriMo effort, where I was challenged to write 50,000 words over 31 days during the month of July.
I 'won' as they say, reaching a final word count of 52,494, but I jumped straight in with only a vague idea where I was heading. Usually I plan ahead, however, having joined the challenge at short notice (and not wanting to miss out) I just went for it anyway. So, for now, that's on the back burner as I let it 'breathe' and go back to it with fresh eyes at a later date.
Needless to say, the challenge is happening again this November over at NaNoWriMo, which is the main event of the year for those of us who like to write a book in a month. Under pressure. LOL And having learnt from my above experience, this time I AM planning away as if my life depended on it! I'll not make the same mistake twice.
So, without further ado, here is the first poem for you. It is an excerpt from the main protagonist's diary. But shush! You didn't hear that from me.
BIG hugs and LOVING spanks!
P.S. As part of my FIRST INTRODUCTORY MONTH, these bonus extras will be sent to ALL BACKERS FIRST, and then a week later will be opened up to the public.
P.P.S. Once again THANK YOU everyone for your support!
