Monthly report (August 2016)
- I created 6 source code repositories related to my dictionary framework and made 45 commits (note: commits are the units of changes recorded in source code repositories) in total.
- Google announced the plan to end support for Chrome packaged apps on Windows, Mac and Linux in early 2018. This is really a bad news for me because the current version of my dictionary framework relies heavily on this platform. So, now I have no choice but to port the existing components to Chrome extensions.
- I gave Dart programming language a 3rd (or 4th?) try hoping that it would help me better organize my source code files. There are still a lot of things to learn to take full advantage of this language but I want to see how far I can go.
