More work-in-progress illustrations from Basic Income Comics

Oct 29, 2020

Hi everyone,

As mentioned last month, I am in the middle of a project titled Basic Income Comics, which will be profiling experimentation into universal basic income. The first major study that I will cover will be the Mincome Manitoba experiment that occurred in Canada during the 1970s.

This is the project that I have been focusing on for the past half-year. As well as stockpiling artwork for this project, I am also working with some developers to create an 'infinite canvas' way of reading the comics, which should work similar to the comics on this page.

So, some of my focus is on drawing the artwork, and the other part of my focus is on overseeing the creation of the new website that will display the comics. This is why it is taking a little longer than usual for me to publish this new content for you to read, as the evolution of the website is influencing the way that I arrange the artwork that I draw.

I just wanted to say thanks for your ongoing support via Patreon donations. Your donations are what is allowing me to make creating this Basic Income Comics my primary work focus at the moment.

Attached with the post are the two pages of artwork that I have completed during the last two days. On a good day, I'll complete a page of artwork of this level of detail. These pages are not sequential, but give a look at the artwork style and tone that I'll be going for with this comic.

All the best to you, and thanks again for your support.
