Just finished watching Nicolas Winding Refn's 2013 thriller, Only God Forgives. A mesmerizing film that feels more like a tone poem than anything else. A clear continuation of the style and rhythms of Drive but pushing things into a new narrative place. It is highly stylized and the movie gets a lot of shit from critics as it does have more in common with the thrillers of Lynch than Mann. Still, if you like Refn's work, this is a must see. The subject matter is dark but it certainly stimulates the mind and the senses.
