Men In Black's reboot/lega-sequel is set to start filming in London. There have been some new developments in this story since filming, so stay tuned to this week's supplemental episode for those.
The Batman (which may or may not still be starring Ben Affleck) is now set to go into production next year.
Nicolas Cage is FINALLY going to be Superman. Kind of... He is going to be the voice of Superman in the new Teen Titans Go To the Movies movie. A bit different than doing the live action version of a resurrected Superman in "Superman Lives", but still cool.
If you are unaware of "Superman Lives" here is a link to watch the documentary: http://www.tdoslwh.com/
Avengers: Infinity War dropped a new trailer... and broke a bunch of records NBD.
Nightwatch is going to be the next Spider-Man character to get his own movie. This is set to be helmed by Spike Lee. Which opens up a much wider conversation, if Spike Lee is jumping on the superhero bandwagon then what does that imply about the genre as a whole? Are we moving passed the gimmicky nature of the superhero film? Will we soon start seeing more genre films through the lens of superhero characters? This is the big discussion that NEEDS to be had.
What did I miss? What should we talk about next week?
