My roommate's cat, a poem
Loud cries end my slumber

Long before my waking hour

In my haste, I tame the source

But in vain, of course

I realise the reason

Why I never liked cats

And the seller's treason;

This one is but a rat

I gaze upon my own

Calm, composed and quiet

Is it the luck of the draw

That mine never riots

All in all I must say

That I shall rest just fine

When I fuck off far away

From this dreadful feline
