NaNoWriMo 2017 Kickoff!
Hello all! By the time you read this, NaNoWriMo 2017 will have started and I'll hopefully be well on my way to the daily wordcount, or beyond. Every night at midnight or a little after, I'll be scheduling the next day's post of the previous day's words.

What does that mean?

Okay, I'm not amazing at explaining things and even I was confused about what I was trying to get at. I'd post something for y'all now, but it's not the 1st yet. So you'll get the words that I wrote November 1st on the second, the 2nd on the third, and so on. I'll be posting my daily word count along with it, but by and large you'll get a chunk of text however I thought to space it out that specific day.

I'm still in debate about what to do with this story once it's written, whether it's just sort of an exercise in getting to know my characters or not, so feel free to offer any feedback on whether you like it, hate it, want it to continue, or anything like that.

You might also notice that the post that contains the words I write on the first will be public and free for all to view. I want to give everyone an idea of what I'm going to be writing before forcing you all to give me money even test the waters of my writing. I'm toying with the idea of turning these characters, and the characters from last year's NaNo, into more of a serialized fiction sort of thing, so if you like it/them and you want to see more, let me know. I love these guys and I could write their boring lives forever. :P

After doing some research on genres, I'm not going to call it YA fiction anymore, however. It's more general fiction as it deals with more adult subject matter, not quite something a high school age person should be reading. Not to say that no high school age person will/would, but it's probably not my intended audience.

I'm also toying with the idea of either a public or a member's only livestream of my writing, but I'm still figuring out how that would work or if it would be an idea that I actually want to follow through with.

Anyway, stay tuned for tomorrow's post (I'm going to post my progress as of midnight every night, but may schedule it to actually post more in the morning so no one gets any annoying email notifications in the middle of the night.)
