Many, many years ago I spent a lot of time in the Watkins Glen NAPA shop. I was very short then, so the damn place always made me feel like Charlie in Wonka's chocolate factory.
Dad would be picking up or dropping off something. He'd have to go back in the shop area, inspect the work on his engine block, heads, whatever.
It's been decades since I've been to a NAPA store, but that dry spell is over. I've made the closet one to me, my parts store now. I think they're getting to know me.
Another First, In Decades
The other day, around lunchtime, I decided to just go to NAPA for no reason. First time in many years. I loved it.
Strolling the isles, spending money I wasn't planning to spend on things I'll need for a Spring touch up.
Make time, my friends, for the people & things that make you smile. ☺
