Hey y'all!
Now that we have the Community Site humming (check out this post if you haven't set up an account yet), I can finally give you a new exciting benefit, something I've been wanting to offer the Woolfpack for a long time: preview pages!
From now on, all $5+ patrons will be able to read a page early of the comic with every update. And thanks to the new Community site, you'll be able to comment about all the new developments without spoiling things for anyone else!
What will these preview pages look like?
To create these preview pages, I'll be lettering Adam's awesome pencil pages. You'll get an advance preview of the story twice a week, but will still be able to enjoy something new and special when I post the colored page on update day.
(We will also hold off on voting for your favorite panel until you can see the colors.)
How will it work?
Here's how it will work: when I post the most current update, I will also post a preview page on the site at the same time. You'll find a link to it in the current page post here on Patreon, but you will also be able to get there by clicking the Next/Last link on the webcomic site, or through the regular Current Page bookmark code.
It will be a regular webcomic post, seamlessly integrated into the comic, except only accessible to $5+ Patrons. It's a special benefit just for y'all!
(I've also created a new code link for those who'll want to immediately jump to the most current colored page instead of the preview page. It's not as pretty as the standard link, but it is meant to be bookmarked, and you can find it in my FAQ.)
Will I be able to comment on the preview page without spoiling things for non-patrons?
Yes! You'll be able to immediately comment on each advance webcomic page in the Preview Pages category of the Community site, which is a private category just for $5+ patrons.
There will be a direct link to where to comment under every preview page. You can then comment on the page on the Community site, just like you currently can with public pages. And you'll be able to say whatever you want about what you see without worrying about spoiling anything, because only other $5+ patrons will be able to see these posts.
Will I then have to post my comments twice for non-patrons to see?
Nope! One of the cool things about the Community site is that once the preview page turns into the current update page, I will move the topic from Preview Pages to the regular Page Updates category, and all of your comments for that advance webcomic page will immediately show up underneath the fully-colored webcomic on the site for everyone else to see. And, at that point, anyone will be able to respond and react to what you had to say.
It's essentially the ultimate "first!". And it's a special benefit just for patrons like you.

As with everything I do, this is an experiment. :) Hopefully, you'll like the new benefit (and hopefully, it will also make becoming a patron more appealing to new readers once I start my big advertising push this summer.)
