I've tackled the notion of making more grown-up comics before. There really are moments when I think, maybe I should aspire to more realistic, more socially relevant topics?
Science, in particular. I'm one of those people who read the newspaper's science page like others read the sports section - I want to finish with something good, something engaging, especially when the politics in the rest of the paper are neither.
And sometimes science news are about robot arms being controlled by brain-networked monkeys. How could I pass up on that?
(Yes, I know. Poor monkeys. But... robot arms!)
Today, everybody who's likely to read this comic will already be science-aware since it's the day we're getting Pluto pictures. Honestly, I thought that was Thursday, or I would have rescheduled.
So, everything in today's comic is true. Except for the part where all my future comics are going to be about facts. That's just some crap I totally made up.
