RELEASING: "Still Standing, Sometimes Part 1" Turning a long journey and learning experience into an asset for Prevention and a Resource and Creative Outlet for other Survivors "Injured at work, this Arachnoiditis Survivor appeals for accountability on behalf of herself, other arachnoiditis survivors, and other injured NYS workers susceptible to medical harm under the current WCB policies for spinal injections. This non-fiction autobiographical publication exposes the obstacles Survivors face when entangled with medico-legal jargon as they seek appropriate care and compensation. Part 1 will include case history, facts, resources, references, and replicas of documents presented to the New York State Workers' Compensation Board and the Appellate Division of the New York State Supreme Court pertaining to this uncompensated, preventable medical injury, consequential spinal adhesive arachnoiditis in the lumbar and thoracic spine, which occurred during treatment for an established work-related knee injury."
