More ch-ch-ch-changes! But first, the schedule~
Collaborative projects are still on hiatus until everyone’s schedules cool down. This time is soon though.
Short story of the month! [Tea moguls], a story about feeding your community and the potential apocalypse. It will be posted mid month. Here is a link, when it goes up.

Ch-ch-ch-changes~~ Hey, I work two jobs. I’ve been able to take on a dog, and am seriously considering attending school again. I’m fine. So I’m redirecting the focus of my Patreon’s cashflow, or rather, making transparent the way I’ve already been using earnings. Since all the funds are first deducted by Patreons I patron to, and the remainder goes to Paypal, I’ve so far exclusively used money from Patreon to support and buy work from artists.
My journal was running out as Maya Kern [link] was raising some much needed funds. This was the first thing I bought with Patreon money, as it was sitting in my Paypal collecting dust (never occurred to me to put into my bank) and I love Maya’s work. Her comic Monster Pop! is cute and queer~
Sisko was about to come into my life and Mary Capaldi’s work [link] came across my twitter feed. Bandanas on dogs are a thing at my house. It may be a while before she wants to wear it.
Long and short of it, money from Patreon is redistributed to other creators: as a patron, purchasing goods (usually gifts), and – hopefully soon – making donations. I’m a big fan of transparency, so newsletters will include the people being supported. The focus of donations are queer, disabled, poc, and indigenous folks. Donations go towards the well-being of folks, particularly fundraisers. Please always send me folks in need of some $$$, especially those under dire circumstances.
Here are the new goals:
At $15/month I’m pledging $1-2 for 5 creators on Patreon, and saving up funds for a purchase from an artist’s personal store every couple of months. Purchases are most often gifts.
At $30/month I’m pledging $1-2 for 10 creators on Patreon, and saving up funds for a purchase from an artist’s personal store every couple of months, and donating $5 a month to support someone who is queer, disabled, indigenous, black, and/or a person of colour. Purchases are most often gifts.
At $50/month I’m pledging $1-2 for 10 creators on Patreon, making a purchase from an artist’s personal store every other month, and donating $10 a month to support someone who is queer, disabled, indigenous, black, and/or a person of colour. Purchases are most often gifts.
