October plans!
Dear readers,

First of all, thank you very much for a successful launch - we are already almost halfway to the first goal, $50 monthly. This unlocks my heartwarming short story Good People in a Small Space, about... transportation magic.

I sent out the $10 reward and I messaged everyone in the $5 reward how they'd like to be credited. In addition to these, once the Iwunen Interstellar Investigations website is up, all patrons will be listed on it!

In October I have the following coming up for you, G-d willing:

* Backers will be able to vote on serialization order (see previously), exactly 14 days after the launch of the Patreon. Then the first episode of YOUR pick will go live the next week, and from then on, each week will bring a new one.

* People who backed in the first two weeks will get an achievement named Early Bird (possibly an Early Octopus)! This is going to be a fun round graphic. I am planning on having further achievements for various things you can do to show your support! But this one is absolutely exclusive to the first two weeks and there won't be any other way of getting it.

* More #diversestories and #diversepoems stuff coming up, I might even be able to get the new website up and running. One thing I am definitely planning on posting is the Worldcon translation panel roundup - I am sorry, I am horribly behind on this.

* Launch of the Iwunen website probably in late October!

There is also a new thing that YOU suggested...

~~~~drumroll~~~~
Watch Me Curmudgeon (yes, it is a verb now)
You apparently like to watch me being curmudgeonly in real time because the Twitter vote in favor of livetweeting my reading of Lev Grossman's The Magicians was quite decisive. I am definitely planning on doing this in October, but to make it more interactive, Patreon backers will be able to vote on what I will livetweet after The Magicians.
 It's not only that, but you will also be able to propose titles! I will post a locked entry where you can comment with ideas, and I'll put up the vote in about a week if all goes well. Just a note that I haven't read / watched:
* Harry Potter
* 50 Shades of Grey
* the new Star Wars movie (I watched the previous ones)
etc.
Many adventures await :D
I will be offline for a bit for Rosh haShanah, the Jewish New Year, starting tomorrow evening. I am wishing everyone much happiness and joy!
Bogi.
