October Postcard: New York, New York
Hopefully by now, you've received your postcard from New York City!  Believe it or not (but i mean, come on, believe me guys) this photo was taken in the backyard of our Air bnb in Harlem, New York.  Plopped between an old church and a Mexican restaurant, this ivy filled backyard with a surprising oasis.  With the classic architecture and stained glass windows of the church to one side, and the colorful bunting and faded green paint of the restaurant to the other, our little seating area had foliage, seating, and even cheerful string lights overhead.  A perfect place to sip coffee and write postcards in the morning.

These cards were written all over New York as I balanced New York Comic Con, my biggest show of the year.  At the AirBnB, at a Starbucks in Rockefeller Plaza, behind the table at the convention, and at the best location of all: Cafe Grumpy, a specialty coffee shop with a cynical name and a surly logo, and some very good coffee. Cards were mailed from Chinatown, and if they haven't reached you yet, they should very soon.

Thank you for another month of patronage! Please feel free to follow along on Instagram (@Cantarella.ink) and let me know what you like.  Do you want more portrait focused cards?  Do you like the scalloped edges?  Should I get cuter stamps??  I'm all ears.

Thanks babes!
