October's Singles are here!

Rejoice! It’s time to unveil October's Singles Club Picks!

Before we get into that though, we want to give one last MASSIVE thank you and congratulations to last months pick, Melted Ice Cream. Choosing a record label was a little unconventional but the crew at MIC have been doing so much for the Christchurch indie scene that we thought it was just common sense to give them some shine...and cash! We would say we hope the label puts that $382.50 to good use but we know for a fact it’s in good hands :)

On to this month’s picks! The singles are…

“Girls” by T.G. Shand

“Girls” is the debut single from T.G. Shand and there are more on the way very soon! This shoegazey dream pop project is by Christchurch based artist Annemarie Duff. Her influences include Curve, Beach House and Tamaryn.

“Always Running” by Blair Parkes

Christchurch multi-instrumentalist, Blair Parkes is a multi-media visual artist, and a lover of the cassette medium, he’s released 38 singles, albums and EPs in 31 years and we’re stoked to have his latest as a Singles Club pick!
