One Year of Dragon Eye

It's been a year now. An interesting year, both in- and out of the game, in the real world and in the world of Dragon Eye.

My deepest gratitude goes out to my Patreons. Your support keeps me up and running when it's difficult, as it sometimes is. But it is so rewarding to see people appreciate my creative work.

So, for the one year anniversary, I reveal my secret project. You heard it here first. :-)

I'm working on a 3D adventure game set in the world of Dragon Eye. I've spent the past three weeks setting up the basic framework and tech stack, and I believe that I have it working enough that I can now focus on content and story.

You will have to wait a bit longer for the reveal on what the game is all about. But in this post, you see some of the very first screenshots. Isn't it gorgeous? I've spent hours getting that all to work, and the money coming in through Patreon pays for the assets, such as models, animations, sounds and tools, that make this possible.

Like all my work on Dragon Eye, this feeds into the larger project. For the adventure game, a part of the world will be developed in much detail, and you will find all the descriptions of places and important people on the Wiki eventually.

The game will be out for Mac, Windows and Linux.
