Le Mozart Noir: The Untold Tale is a collaborative ballet production by Valerie Shelton Tabor of Contemporary Ballet Dallas, music direction by Dallas Bach Society Director James Richman, and includes original compositions by Open Classical founder and director, Mark Landson.

This original ballet tells the fascinating true story of one of the 18th century's most famous, yet forgotten characters: the son of a French nobleman and his slave mistress who grew up to be considered to be the epitome of the renaissance ideals of the age. He was a famed swordsman, violinist, composer, ladies’ man and commander of 1000 men in the French Revolution.
