The holidays last a long time this year.

I started off the day before Christmas, celebrating early by posting Chapter 21 of 0800-Rent-A-Hero and gifting myself a Patreon. That done, I put it out of my mind and moved on to celebrating the holidays with my family and showing off my skills in the kitchen. After contentedly succumbing to a food coma - I shall fear no scale until at least Monday - I checked back in with that same Patreon only to run full-tilt into a pile of unexpected presents.

Holy Hannah, I have patrons, lots of them.

Truly, I feel like a five-year-old right now, jumping in glee from gift to gift as I tear the figurative wrapping off every single e-mail notifying me of a new supporter. It's glorious. It's wonderful. It's stoking the fires of my motivation to write like nothing else.

Thank you. Your support means the world to me. And seeing as how I'm postponing cleaning up in favour of writing right now, it's also working: I'm determined to have the next chapter ready in time and make it just that little bit better.

Whatever your preferred flavour of celebration, I hope it was/is/will be as merry as mine.

Thank you for your thoughts.
