Pavesi Autocano Taglifili - The Trench Breaker
The Pavessi and Tolotti Tagliafil was one of the more unusual machines of WW1. Designed around the rugged Pavesi military tractor she was armour plated like an armoured car, turretted, and fitted with a pair of vertical wire cutters to breach enemy barbed wire. Although the tests showed the machine could cut through enemy wire the design took too long to be refined to where it could enter production and was too slow with insufficient protection.

Tanks had started to come into production for much they same purpose and with better performance and protection. The prototype Tagliafili was broken for scrap.
