Two Americans performing a seance act in Paris attract the attention of a film producer, one who grows desperate to capture the supernatural on the silver screen. Natalie Portman, Lily-Rose Depp and Emmanuel Salinger star in Rebecca Zlotowski's Planetarium. Covering issues of pre-war French cinema, the supernatural, and anti-Semitism, it is an intriguing but ultimately a little muddled. It's playing this month across Australia as part of the French Film Festival.
