James Campion is a journalist, contributing editor to The Aquarian Weekly, and columnist as Managing Editor of the Reality Check News & Information Desk. He has written about music for decades, in newspapers, magazines, blogs, and is the author of three books on music, Deep Tank Jersey - One Man's Journey into the Soul of a New Jersey Club Band, Shout It Out Loud - The Story of KISS's Destroyer and the Making of an American Icon, and Accidentally Like a Martyr - The Tortured Art of Warren Zevon. He is currently working on a book project with Counting Crows frontman and main songwriter, Adam Duritz. He has interviewed and written about Eric Hutchinson since 2005. Eric says, "I write and record my songs and then send them to James so he can tell me what they mean."
