Yup, Pogskin 1.2 is here. Unfortunately, there is some limitation so read carefully before downloading the mod
After releasing pogskin 1.0, I always wondered what the hell is going on with illusion skin shader. Well, after few weeks I finally figured out with others help (props to Hanman, essu, enimaroah).
So, I figured how they work and managed to make wetskin textures with better glossiness map overall.
Something you need to read
1. But strangely they decided to put all the skin information into details... so most of skin effects will tied to skin details.
which means pogskin's real difference can only be noticable with pogskin detail maps. Other maps cannot be used with it.
2. Well- because of reason above, I had to make another compromise with the mod. I decided to pack each skinset in each unityasset bundle.
which means it has more size than it should be, but it only loads specific texture set when loading/making character with pogskin.
3. There might be seams noticable in certain area. Well, I know you guys hates seams.. but the UV map of body is "horrible" so I couldn't help it at all.
Here is some list of seams you might notice
- In high contrast lighting you might notice seams around shoulder. (UV Map Texel Size difference)
- Neck area might have seams (Thanks illusion for making incontinent shader)
Something needs to be done.
Well, There is only one experimental wet face skin variant on face- so I need to make my own face set again...
But I can sure it can be done more easily than making another skin texture.
