POST ADPOCALYPSE PARTY

Well patrons (and anyone who happens to see this), the great adpocalypse is done and gone and so are paid content creators. From the greats like Pewdiepie, Onision, Mr. Repzion, Phil DeFranco, etc. down to the itty bitty channels - like mine.

Patreon has been begging us to be patient for them to catch up on potential problems and other stuff 'cause they've been inundated with all of us who didn't want to have to be here (No offense Patreon). I expect that after this week is over, they're gonna be crying...

The other drop into the piss bucket is that there seems to be no reason or rhyme to why videos are being dropped. But wait a minute, they say, we didn't say you have NO ads, just FEW ads. That statement cost people big time as they have reported that their making 10 - 30 percent of their usual revenue. Which means we either start dancing for sponsors,  or just throw up our hands (and our lunches) and start listing used equipment on eBay...

Oh yeah, the weird part. What YouTube has done is vamped up their monetization system so you go into the yellow because... reasons. When you see that, you can request a 'manual review'. Meaning that a real person has to look at your video and see if it was tagged by accident. Mr. Repzion sent a request on one video just to see it "confirmed by manual review" within seconds. That's one FAST employee! I had a video tagged and confirmed and I didn't even see it in the first place. Strange things are afoot at the Circle K dudes...

With me? Again, no sense whatsoever. Except that they have managed to demonetize my most viewed videos AND my channel introduction video? WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN SMOKING PEOPLE?

In conclusion - be careful watching your fave creators on YouTube. We don't give a rats ass anymore so instead of being careful what we say and what we show, you're gonna see a lot rawer video entries.

Until YouTube finally goes down in flames, of course.
