This is the first of twelve in my concentration which comments on changes in time by reflecting on individual values.  For some, their values brought them closer to themselves, as shown by using negative space addressed positively on the same plane; while for others, their values caused a disconnect between them and those around them, as shown by using multiple paper planes.  I decided to pursue this concept because individual choices have shaped myself and those around me.  Whether it be by mandating more time to work than family or allowing a material medium to prohibit them from achieving their goal, each subject made a choice, changing their view of themselves and those around them.
