Preparing for April 13th, 2018

The Spring Afterworlds game is quickly approaching, and, while I know that I've not been posting as often as I should, that doesn't mean that I haven't been hard at work on the Plot for the upcoming game!

We have a ton to look forward to in this next year. I have been informed by the owner/operator of Afterworlds (Udo, of course) that we will be moving to a new camping format in 2019. This is the 'Three Cities' idea that you have all been hearing about for the last few months. Because of this change in the site dynamics, we are going to have some major changes in Plot as well to facilitate the change.

Firstly, things are going to be moving very quickly Plot wise. Much of what I had planned to happen over the next couple of years of games will be coming to fruition over the next couple of games. So, things that might have happened over three full games will now happen over just one. Things that were to be multiple year affairs, will now be just multiple game arcs. The plan is to clean everything up that is currently happening in plot that can easily be brought to an end. There are some things that can't, so, they will simply become the beginning story arcs for next Spring.

In February and March, we will be having a few contests to make new NPC's and new short and long quests for this next year. Winners will have their brain children featured in the upcoming year of games. Be sure to check back often and look for these contests.

So, these next several games will be full of hope, betrayal, intrigue and death. Prepare yourself for what might be Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. Good luck out there, Wastelanders.

And as always, tell your friends about Afterworlds and Factual Fictions. The more we support each other, the better our world becomes!
