It's no secret that I'm generally opposed to military intervention. It's reasonable to argue that it's sometimes necessary such as in WWII or the US Civil War. We did a bad job of reserving military action for the extreme circumstances in which it's arguably necessary. We did a great disservice to our soldiers who put their lives on the line for us, when we sent them into Korea, then Vietnam, and much later Afghanistan without good intelligence and then again into Iraq with even less, proving that we failed to learn from previous mistakes. On top of that now we're asking them to clean up the mess we made with ISIS. None the less, they kept their part of the bargain and did what we asked. The bare minimum we must do, as decent people, is uphold our part of the bargain and care for them now that they're home.
Thanks, Rachel, for your support! Let me know if you need any changes. I had the impression you planned to do something specific with this piece, but I don't know what that is. ;) Once I know you have what you need, I'll email you the high-resolution file.
Stay awesome, hooligans!
